Dominic Daoust
Principal Partner - Project Director

Dominic Daoust earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from the Université Laval in 2000, following a technical diploma in architecture from the Cégep de Saint-Laurent in 1997. This dual background gives him a solid command of project management, design, and construction issues. A member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec and the Ontario Association of Architects, he has worked at NFOE since 2000 and became a principal partner of the firm in 2018.

Dominic specializes in the management, programming, and design of healthcare projects: analytical, diagnostic, and research laboratories, biomedical facilities, pharmacies, and animal research facilities. Recognized in Quebec as a reference in the development of biomedical laboratories, he has led major projects including the MAPAQ animal pathology laboratory, the OPTILAB laboratory in the Montérégie region, and several laboratories at the Jewish General Hospital. He excels at interventions in occupied environments: work phasing, infection prevention, and coordination with clinical and technical teams. He currently serves as NFOE's team lead on the major project at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, delivered through a consortium.
