NFOE is looking for an intermediate or senior Architectural Technologist with more than 5 years of experience in architecture, including experience on institutional and/or industrial projects in Quebec.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare general and detailed documentation for one or several projects simultaneously (BIM modelling)
- Produce technical drawings (plans, elevations, sections, enlarged details, technical details)
- Prepare door and frame schedules, finish schedules, and quantity take-offs for estimating
- Review shop drawings and technical data sheets
- Coordinate with engineers
Required experience :
- 5+ years of experience as an architectural technologist
- Knowledge of REVIT and Dynamo software
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel and Word
- Ability to work in a team (very important)
- Ability to manage priorities
- Self-discipline to work independently from home when required
- Proficiency in spoken and written French
- Working knowledge of English
- Experience in the following sectors is a strong asset :
– Large-scale institutional projects
– Hospitals
– Health sciences and scientific facilities in general
– Pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities
– Animal research and veterinary medicine facilities
